What is VastuMaps?
VastuMaps is an AI-powered Vastu house planning tool from Zeptrix Labs. You enter plot dimensions, gate direction, and room requirements, and the AI generates a complete Vastu-aligned floor plan along with a 100-point compliance score and a dosha report with remedies. It works in Hindi and English, and outputs are ready to share as PDFs.
How is the Vastu score calculated?
The Vastu score evaluates a plot or plan on 10 dimensions - direction of main entrance, position of kitchen (Agni), master bedroom, pooja room (Ishan), toilets, water source, staircase, plot shape, road orientation, and open sides. Each dimension is scored based on classical Vastu Shastra rules and combined into a single 0-100 score with a clear breakdown so you know exactly which corners need work.
Do I need to know Vastu to use VastuMaps?
No. VastuMaps is designed for homeowners with zero Vastu background. You answer simple questions in plain Hindi or English - plot size, where your gate faces, which sides are open, how many rooms you want - and the AI handles all Vastu logic. Every recommendation comes with a plain-language explanation of "why this direction, why not that one".
Can architects and Vastu consultants use it professionally?

Does VastuMaps work for irregular plot shapes?
Yes. The AI supports rectangular, square, L-shape, T-shape, and irregular polygon plots. Corner plots and plots with cut corners are also evaluated, and get specific dosha warnings if the shape creates a Vastu defect. Irregular plots are the norm in Indian towns, so this was a launch requirement.
Is VastuMaps available in Hindi?
Yes. VastuMaps supports Hindi and English at launch. Voice input in Hindi is available so users can describe their plot naturally - for example, "mera plot 30 by 40 hai, gate purab me hai, back side road hai, sabse pehle pooja room chahiye". Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Gujarati are on the post-launch roadmap.
